ABOUT DR. SCHWARTZ

In his practice, Westlake Village plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Schwartz has developed a national reputation in breast and body surgery. He is a member of the prestigious Mentor Advisory Council, speaking around the country on behalf of the Mentor Corporation. He has travelled around the world to remain up to date on the latest techniques in breast surgery.  He specializes in breast, body contouring, and facial surgery, and is sought out by patients from around Southern California and the rest of the country for his expertise in these areas. 

Dr Schwartz is known for his natural results. New techniques in plastic surgery allow for a more natural result in both breast and facial surgery. Careful attention to technique lets patients experience less discofort, and a shorter recovery. Breast patients are back to work in just a few days, and can resume all normal activities including exercise in about 3 weeks. Facelift patients have a much quicker return to work, exercise and social activities.

Our surgery center has state of the art equipment, and uses only board certified anesthesiologists for your safety.

Dr. Schwartz completed his Plastic Surgery training at The University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, one of the premier residency programs in the country.  His training in Plastic and Reconstructive surgery included extensive training in all areas of cosmetic surgery.  He has authored and presented numerous papers, and has been an invited speaker at several national plastic surgery meetings.  Dr. Schwartz has also been honored with several teaching awards.

Dr. Schwartz is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS) and The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS).  He is also a fellow in the American College of Surgeons.
