What is lip augmentation?

Lip augmentation is a minimally invasive and non-surgical cosmetic procedure that gives a patient more shapely, fuller and plumper lips. It is most commonly done with a Juvederm or Restylane injectable of “hyaluronic acid,” a substance that occurs naturally in the body, making it safer, longer lasting, and far less risk intensive than earlier fillers.

Patients can expect their plush and shapely new lips to last for 6-8 months, or up to a year, depending on how the body deals with the change.

How Long Does Lip Augmentation Last?

Lip Augmentation is a long-lasting but impermanent cosmetic procedure. The product itself (hyaluronic acid) lasts for a year, however patients are more likely to experience anywhere from 6 to 9 months of visible results depending on their body type.
