Revision Breast Surgery

While the goal is to only have one surgery, some patients do require secondary breast surgery.  Dr. Schwartz is known for his expertise in correction of problems from previous breast surgery.  These procedures are more difficult than primary breast augmentation, and require an experienced breast surgeon to explain each patients options, and to provide an optimal and safe result.

Breast Lift – (Mastopexy)

When the breast and/or nipple has lost its shape or position, a breast lift may be the proper procedure.  This surgery can be combined with an augmentation to improve both the size and shape of the breast.  There are many different techniques to choose from, and each patient needs a different approach.  The goal is to minimize incisions and scars while still achieving the best cosmetic result.

Breast Reduction

Women whose breasts are too large, and often drooping, can benefit greatly from breast reduction.  This surgery can often be covered by insurance, and our office staff will be happy to help you with this process.  As with breast lifting, there are many different techniques to reduce and lift the breast.  Dr. Schwartz will work with each patient to achieve the best shape with the least amount of incisions.

Male Breast Reduction – (Gynecomastia)

The male breast can become abnormally enlarged, either due to hormone imbalance, drugs, or weight gain and loss.  The procedures to correct this include liposuction, usually with ultrasound technique, surgical excision, and rarely excess skin removal when needed.
