Choosing to have facial surgery is a very personal decision. Many patients are hesitant, because while they would like to look better, they are only willing to accept a natural result.
Dr. Schwartz is known for his facial surgery, especially his natural, un-operated results. Patients choose his practice for his attention to detail, hidden, shorter incisions, and elegant, conservative, and pleasing results.
There are many areas of facial surgery, and each patient requires a different approach to achieve optional results. These include:
Facelift
The techniques for facelift surgery have changed dramatically in the last decade. Patients can have significant improvement with much shorter incisions, limited scars, and minimal change to their hairlines. Recovery is significantly shorter, with most patients returning to work and normal activities in less than two weeks.

Eyelid Surgery – (Blepharoplasty)
Surgery of the eyelids can produce dramatic improvements, with patients looking much younger, more attractive and more alert. Upper eyelid surgery can be done with local anesthesia in the office. This can of course also be combined with other facial procedures.

Browlift Surgery
Some patients have drooping of their brows as they age. Modern browlifts are performed through small incisions in the scalp for most patients. This allows for shorter recovery than other procedures. Again, this can be combined with other facial procedures as well.
Laser Resurfacing
An important part of facial surgery today is not just lifting the skin, but improving its quality as well. Laser surgery today is performed in a “Fractional” technique. This allows a faster recovery, less discomfort, and minimal chance of skin discoloration or scarring. Laser resurfacing can be combined with other facial procedures, or performed alone.

Nasal Surgery (Rhinoplasty)
Surgery of the nose is both demanding and personal. Because the nose is the center of the face, changes in this area must be subtle and natural. Dr. Schwartz will discuss your goals and uses the Canfield Mirror Imaging system during your consultation to help you see what changes can be made.

Ear Pinning – (Otoplasty)
Patients with prominent ears can have significant improvement in their appearance by returning the ear to a more natural position. Children can undergo this procedure as early as five years of age (before starting school). If you have a newborn child, please ask your pediatrician about splinting of the ears, as this may avoid surgery in the future.
